Staff Spotlight: Ginny Loveless

As the office manager for Reese Library’s Administration Office, Ginny Loveless wears many hats. At any time, she could play the role of building manager, budget cruncher, or supervisor. But when Sunday football rolls around, the only kind of hat you’ll find on her head is one sporting the logo of her favorite team–the Green Bay Packers.

“My dad’s from Wisconsin, so I just grew up loving the Packers,” the California native says. “I have three brothers and two sisters, and we all love the team. So when we’re all together, watch out.”

Ms. Loveless started working in the library as a student assistant when she started her freshman year at ASU in 1999. She’s been the full-time office manager for a little more than a year.

When she’s not working or spending time with her two nieces, Ally, 2, and Shelby, 3, she’s studying. Ms. Loveless will begin her fourth semester in the ASU Master of Public Administration degree program in January.

“I’ve only got five classes left,” she says.

When she receives her degree, she hopes to continue working in the university system in some type of administrative role.
