ASU ranks in top 20 nationallyBest Colleges icon

In a recent survey by U.S. News and World Report, Augusta State University ranked in the top of the class in diversity. With a 25 percent African American student population, the university ranked 11th for most diverse population of southern schools in the study.

ASU also ranked among the top 100 southern schools that offer masters level degrees. The magazine categorizes American colleges and universities by the institution’s mission and, usually, its geographic region, and uses up to 16 indicators to measure academic quality.

The America’s Best Colleges 2002 edition reviews more than 1,400 schools nationwide. The publication offers students advice on how to prepare and choose the best school.
