Spring semester wraps up at ASU

ASU held spring commencement May 10 at the Christenberry Fieldhouse. Thomas C. Meredith, chancellor of the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents, was the guest speaker. More than 325 students received degrees.

Other graduation-related activities included the Department of Nursing Pinning Ceremony May 9 at the Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre. Thirty students took the Nightingale pledge, pledging to help those committed to their care.

The ASU ROTC battalion held a Commissioning Ceremony May 10 in Washington Hall Towers, where three ROTC cadets received their commissions as officers in the U.S. Army.
