Gregory named head coach of Team USA
Josh Gregory, mens golf head coach, has been named head coach of the Team
USA squad for this summers Toyota World Junior Cup Championship in Japan.
The U.S. team, compiled by a selection committee consisting of college coaches,
includes the top junior players in the nation. Gregory was also selected as the
NCAA mens All-Independent Coach of the Year in a vote of independent sports
information directors and coaches.
ASU golfers Emmett Turner and Leah Hart were named the All-Independent mens
and womens players-of-the-year, respectively. Senior Oliver Wilson, who
has won three individual titles this season, was a first-team selection to the
mens team, while sophomore Lauren Smith was named a first-team pick to
the womens squad.
