LTC Goddette named commander

U.S. Army LTC Michele L. Goddette has been named as the new commander of ASU’s military science program.

She comes to ASU having recently returned from an eight month deployment in Iraq. There she was responsible for all explosive ordnance disposal operations as well as the plans and procedures in support of the combined forces land component commander in Kuwait.

LTC Goddette received her commission in the Ordnance Corps upon graduation from the University of Vermont, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in education in 1985. She holds two master’s degrees, one in national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College, and a second in organizational behavior and organizational effectiveness from Chapman University in Orange, Calif.
