Women's Week kicks off in March

The Augusta State University’s Women’s Studies Program is hosting a series of events during Women’s Week Feb. 26 through March 4. Admission to all events is free unless otherwise noted.

Feb. 26, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Women’s Studies Program reception on the lawn between Allgood Hall and the Science Building.
Feb. 27 and 28, 7 p.m. - Reader’s Theatre production of A Voice of My Own, Butler Lecture Hall.
March 3, 7 p.m. - Film Antonia’s Line, Butler Lecture Hall, followed by a panel discussion.
March 3, 7 p.m. - Lysistrata Project: A Theatrical Act of Dissent, co-sponsored by the Women’s Studies Program and the Unitarian-Universalist Women’s Group, 3501 Walton Way Extension. Suggested donation $5 benefits charities working for peace and humanitarian aid in the Middle East.
March 4, 7 p.m. - She Speaks, a presentation of poetry, short stories, and one-act plays by the Garden City Writers, Washington Hall Towers.
