ASU Theatre Festival
To be or not to be; that is the question… that Augusta State students will have to answer as they prepare for the annual ASU Theatre Festival.
Highlighting this year's festival will be a keynote address by Scott Dillard, assistant professor of rhetoric in the Department of English, Speech, and Journalism at Georgia College and State University. Dr. Dillard received his bachelor and master degrees from Southern Illinois University.
The Theatre Festival, which will begin on March 27 at 8 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre, showcases the talents of Augusta State students as well as members of the community. There will be several short plays each night. The festival will run through March 29.
General admission tickets for the theatre performances are $10 each night. ASU faculty, staff, and students are admitted free with a valid JagCard. Dr. Dillard's presentation is free.
For more information about the festival, contact Shelly Ford, coordinator of the Theatre Festival and assistant professor of theatre and scenic design in the Department of Communications and Professional Writing, at 706-729-2416.
