Students name most valuable professors
The ASU Student Ambassador Board hosted its annual Most Valuable Professor recognition
ceremony at the Maxwell Alumni House.
The 2003 MVPs include Robert Flannigan, languages, literature and communications;
Robert Gustafson, kinesiology and health science; Robert Foster, fine arts; Janice
Williams, fine arts; Jennifer Onofrio, fine arts; Andy Hauger, chemistry and
physics; Holly Carter, sociology; Paul Harris, political science; Allen Scarboro,
sociology; Charles Jenks, teacher development; Wendy Turner, history and anthropology;
Ernestine Thompson, sociology; Karin Sisk, languages, literature and communications;
Christine Crookall, fine arts; and Kim Davies, sociology.
The board is comprised of students nominated by faculty each spring and fall.
The student ambassador organization provides avenues for student service to the
ASU Alumni Association and the university, and it serves as a medium for developing
leadership abilities and providing community diplomacy at ASU.
