ASU employees recognized for service

Six retiring ASU employees were recognized for service at the 2003 employee recognition ceremony May 1 at the Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre. The employees included: June Pritchett, director of the bookstore, 30 years; Roxann Bustos, associate director of Reese Library, 13 years; Ronald Weber, acting dean of education, 25 years; Gwen Wood, associate professor of public administration, 12 years; Margaret Yonce, professor of English, 33 years; and Louise Rice, associate professor of reading, 19 years.

The Staff Advisory Council also awarded the SAC employee of the year award to Tim Dobbs, physical plant. Dobbs received a check for $1,000 and a framed print of the ASU historical buildings. The Faculty Award and Alumni Association Award recipients were also recognized as well as 78 employees for length of service.
