ASU's golf teams try out the new practice facility.

The new practice facility for ASU's Division I golf team was dedicated in a brief ceremony April 12. Highlighting the ceremony was an announcement by co-chairs of the Campaign for Collegiate Golf Nick Evans and Don Grantham (also members of the President's Club and the university's Foundation) of a $250,000 matching gift from Fleming and Sandra Norvell. Mrs. Norvell is also a member of the ASU Foundation, and both are members of the President's Club.

"We are very appreciative of the Norvell's gift," says Helen Hendee, director of major gifts and alumni affairs.

Following presentations by both Evans and Grantham, introduction of the teams was made by Josh Gregory, director of the golf program and men's head coach, and Trelle Kite McCombs, coach of the women's team. The teams then hit a drive off the tee to "christen" the new facility. A reception followed the ceremony
