Spring commencement is May 15

Dr. William A. Bloodworth, Jr. will speak at the spring commencement.

Nearly 400 students will receive their undergraduate and graduate degrees at Augusta State University’s spring commencement on Saturday, May 15, at 10 a.m., at the Christenberry Fieldhouse on Wrightsboro Road. The speaker for the spring commencement exercises will be ASU President William A. Bloodworth, Jr., who is celebrating his 10th year at the university. It was in 1994 that Dr. Bloodworth gave his first spring commencement address.

Following commencement exercises, four Army ROTC cadets will receive their commission to enter the U.S. Army, at the Army ROTC Commissioning ceremony at 2 p.m. in Galloway Hall.
