Science Building custodian receives Physical Plant award Emma Lovett was recently presented the Physical Plant’s Employee of the First Quarter Award. She is a custodian in the Physical Plant and maintains the second floor of the Science Building. “Emma is a very good employee and takes pride in her work,” says Brenda Gilmore, building services supervisor in the Physical Plant. “With any assignment that she is given, she puts 100 percent into it and is always willing to work with anyone.” An employee at Augusta State since April 2001, Ms. Lovett has two sons, one daughter, and four grandchildren. She loves flowers, plants, cooking, fishing, and crocheting.
