Students, faculty, and staff gather at a reception following a lecture by Lucinda MacKethan, a professor of English at N.C. State University. Mrs. MacKethan gave a lecture titled Taking Ground Against the World: Region vs. Resistance in Southern Literature. The program was part of the Erskine Caldwell Centennial Celebration.
