America’s Choice Mortgage Lady Jaguar Invitational The annual America’s Choice Mortgage Lady Jaguar Invitational is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 6 and 7, at Forest Hills Golf Club. A practice round and college-amateur will be played on Sunday, Nov. 5, with a junior clinic slated for Saturday, Nov. 4, at the First Tee of Augusta at 3 p.m. The third annual tournament is a 36-hole, two-day event. “It has been really interesting to watch our tournament grow the last three years,” says Laura Coble, head women’s golf coach. “We took a big step forward last year when we found such a terrific title sponsor in America’s Choice Mortgage. The strength of the field and the quality of the teams playing in our event continues to improve with each season. When you combine a well-run event with tremendous Southern hospitality and a terrific, challenge golf course such as Forest Hills Golf Club, you have all the makings for one of the top college tournaments in the Southeast. That’s our goal, and that’s where we are headed.” The Lady Jags will tee up against such teams as Arkansas State University, East Carolina University, Georgia State University, the University of Memphis, and the University of Miami. A dinner in celebration of the tournament will be held on Monday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. in the Jaguar Student Activities Ballroom for the players and invited guests.
