New Student Ambassadors

Twenty-three students have been selected to serve as ASU Student Ambassadors for the 2004-05 academic year. Student Ambassadors are the liaison between ASU students, alumni, faculty and administration. They work with the Alumni Association in alumni outreach programs and also perform valuable services for the university. Orientation, Jaguar Jaunt, A Day and Alumni Barbecue, and the President’s Club reception are just a few of the events on the Student Ambassador calendar.

Students are nominated by professors to participate in the Ambassador selection process each spring. Nominees are asked to complete an application and attend a round of interviews conducted by current Student Ambassadors. Twenty to twenty-five Ambassadors are selected each year.

Students selected for the honor are Megan Arthur-Biology, Stephanie Bartasis-Chemistry, Mikey Coffman-Sociology, Adam Cowart-Spanish, Elaine Davis-Biology, Natalya Delgado-English Literature, Henry Dondlinger-Sociology (Criminal Justice), Theresa Hall-Fine Arts, Natasha Lowe-Chemistry, Robert Maddox-Psychology, Kelli Moore-Spanish, Kathy Newton-English (Professional Writing), Dean Ozanne-Sociology (Criminal Justice), Michael Phillips-Chemistry, Kenneth Porter-Finance, Ryan Price-Chemistry, Chase Rhodes-Communications (PR), Carmen Del Valle Ruiz-Music, William Smith-English Literature, Jennifer Sternschuss-Biology, Jessica Stewart-Fine Arts, Robert Thornhill-Biology and Amanda Wescom-English Literature.
