HIV screenings as well as bone density testing will be offered at the free event. Along with local health care providers, the nursing department will also offer free blood pressure checks and screenings for vision, hearing, cholesterol, and glucose, body fat analysis, massage therapy, and information on osteoporosis, hypertension, nutrition, lung cancer/smoking cessation, sexually transmitted diseases, diabetes, and breast/testicular cancer. Flu shots will be available through the Richmond County Health Department for $10-$25. The nursing department will supply a limited number of flu shots for $10. The Department of Nursing will offer free health services at the annual community health fair on Wednesday, October 6, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Christenberry Fieldhouse.
