DESCRIPTION: The tapestry hanging in the stairwell of the Reese Library was handcrafted by Jennie York. Ms. York spent six years and more than 8,500 hours creating the work of art that was completed on June 7, 1977. Interwoven in the tapestry are words that had significant meaning to the artist.
