ASU Opera Workshop - Oktoberfest

Traditionally, Oktoberfest is known for its festivals. Now, the Augusta State University Department of Music will add a new element.

ASU's Opera Workshop, Oktoberfest, will be an evening of scenes from various German operas that will be performed on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre.

Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, Mozart's The Magic Flute, and Beethoven's Fidelio will be among the operas performed in English by ASU students.

This event is free to ASU faculty, staff, and students with a valid ASU ID. For more information, call ASU's Department of Music at 706-737-1453.
