ASU Opera Workshop - Oktoberfest
Traditionally, Oktoberfest is known for its festivals. Now, the Augusta State University Department of Music will add a new element.
ASU's Opera Workshop, Oktoberfest, will be an evening of scenes from various German operas that will be performed on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre.
Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, Mozart's The Magic Flute, and Beethoven's Fidelio will be among the operas performed in English by ASU students.
