Bookstore conducts faculty survey
The ASU Bookstore staff want to know the perceptions that Augusta
State faculty have about the bookstore in order to help improve its operation.
From textbook availability and pricing to book selection, academic software,
store hours, and special events, faculty opinions of the store play an important
role and carry a great deal of weight.
The goal of the bookstore survey is to understand and address the key issues
which impact the facultys satisfaction regarding store operations. Surveys
will be mailed to ASU faculty the week of September 8th with a due date for completion
of September 19th.
The ASU Bookstore is committed to providing our customers with quality
service in support of the academic mission of Augusta State University,
said Karl Munschy, bookstore director. This survey will allow us to focus
our energy on improving the stores operation in a variety of areas.
This survey was developed for the ASU Bookstore by the National Association of
College Stores. NACS is the trade association for college bookstores across the
country, of which the ASU Bookstore is a member. To ensure objectivity with the
results, completed survey forms will be forwarded to NACS where all data entry,
statistical analysis, and reporting of verbatim comments will be completed by
their research staff. Additionally, the ASU Bookstore will be able to compare
the survey results with those of other campus bookstores.
