A ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, will officially open a new satellite Literacy Center in McDuffie county. The new center, located at Norris Elementary School, will offer services to adults only. "This is a wonderful collaborative venture between McDuffie county schools and ASU," says Dr. Paulette Harris, Cree Walker Professor of Education.

The center will open on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and its services are free.
