ASU ranked one of the best universities in the south

For the third consecutive year, ASU has been ranked one of the best universities in the south, according to US News and World Report’s 2004 college guidebook. This year, the university ranked 8th in student diversity, up four places from a tie for 12th last year. The university ranked 11th in 2002.

ASU was also ranked in the Best Universities–Masters Category, for those universities that offer master’s degrees with few, if any, doctoral programs. The university ranked 104 within its geographic area. Rankings are tabulated based on a variety of statistics, including average graduation rate and student to faculty ratios.
