Adam Ward has been named head coach of the women’s cross country team. Mr. Ward will replace seven-year coach Buck Harris, who left to accept an assistant men’s basketball coaching position at Campbell University on July 1. “Adam will make a fine addition to our staff,” says Athletic Director Clint Bryant. “He brings a lot of positives to our program, and we know he’ll make a difference. With his experience and background in running, we’re confident we can develop into an NCAA-caliber cross country program.” Mr. Ward, a 2001 graduate of Murray State University with a degree in exercise science, served as a volunteer assistant coach with the ASU cross country program last season.
