Staff Advisory Council recognizes charter members

ASU’s Staff Advisory Council recognized past charter members who started the council 10 years ago. The event took place at a SAC meeting on July 21.

Members recognized were:
Ms. Georgia Cunningham, student activities
Mr. Jeff Peterson, physical plant
Mr. Bill Juras, information technology services
Ms. Denise Cooper, personnel
Mr. Phillip Pridgen, physical plant

The Council also recognized Ms. Deborah Kilpatrick, physical plant, whose term will be ending soon. She served on SAC for more than five years, was elected to the executive board as vice chair from 2004-2005 and served as secretary from 2003-2004. Ms. Kilpatrick has participated in campus events such as the Peach Belt Conference Basketball Tournament, the SAC turkey drawing, the Week of Welcome, and she served as a judge for the Christmas Toy Drive Bin Decorating Contest. She assisted with coordinating the 10th annual University System Staff Council Conference, Putting the Pieces Together, at Augusta State in 2003.
