Major: Fine Art Degree Objective: Graduate School University highlights, achievements and awards: Hope Scholarship Artist 2006, Jurors Choice Award for The Annual Student Art Show 2007, The Nathan Bindler Scholarship Award High School: Highland High School Hometown: Albuquerque, New Mexico I chose to attend ASU: I am the girl named Michael. My passion is art,in particular ceramics. My son Thomas, is a Navy Nuke and my daughter Stevie, is a Political Science Major at Augusta State. My husband and biggest fan is Tim, we are the proud parents of three dogs, Alice, Jerry, and Spike. (The world famous art critic) Augusta has been my home for about 20 years now; Augusta State has a fabulous Fine Arts Department with a Super Star Line up of professors. Why leave home when everything I dreamed of was here. My favorite things to do on campus are: Ceramics, ceramics, sculpture, photography, Starbuck's Coffee, painting, and more ceramics. When I have free time, I like: I love going to lunch with my friends from school. Spending time with my Grandparents, and working at the Art Factory. Also, Ceramics. The craziest thing I've done is: Go back to school at age 40. My favorite place to study is: At home, I have a room devoted to studying. (I am a nerd, I love to study) My favorite professors are: All of them; in particular, After graduation, I plan to: Attend Graduate School The one ASU experience I will always remember will be: Algebra, and I sure took a lot of it. |
