March in Review (continued)
Augusta State held its first International Cultural Festival March 15 at the Maxwell Theatre. The International Club, the ASU International Affairs Committee, and other ASU clubs and organizations displayed educational information on the home countries of our students. Entertainment included a Middle Eastern belly dancer, a demonstration of martial arts, and music by Lane 4, a Brazilian band composed of ASU students. Cultural and ethnic groups from the community also participated in the afternoon event. The festival was coordinated by Gina Thurmond, coordinator of special student programs.
