Michael "Cowboy Mike" Searles discussed his book, Black Cowboys of Texas, in Reese Library's Meet the Author program.

Phi Kappa Phi Presents Forum

Ray Chandrasekara, languages, literature, and communications, presented a Phi Kappa Phi forum on Nationalism and Colonial/Indigenous Agencies in the Dutch East Indies. Phi Kappa Phi also sponsored a Faculty Showcase, highlighting faculty use of technology in their teaching. Faculty participating in the Showcase included Todd Schultz, business administration; Billy Thomas, kinesiology and health science; Dick Stracke, languages, literature, and communications; Jurgen Brauer, economics; Steve Hobbs, psychology; Hubert van Tuyll, history and anthropology; and Seretha Williams, languages, literature, and communications. The showcase was developed and coordinated by Maureen Atkins, computer services.
