The Media Services Center, a part of Reese Library, is dedicated to serving
the universitys instructional technology needs. Located in Hardy Hall,
the Media Center includes the media library, television and audio production
studios, and distance learning rooms. The media library includes different
video tapes, audio tapes, CDs, and CD-ROM materials, many of which can be
checked out by faculty, staff, and students. Instructional support services
include the delivery of equipment and programs to the classroom, and an equipment
check-out system for ASU students, faculty, and staff.
Additionally, the Media Services Center houses two distance learning classrooms
and satellite receivers as a part of the Georgia Statewide Academic and Medical
System (GSAMS), allowing the unit to offer or receive various educational
experiences. Two local satellite dishes can downlink classes and conferences
from anywhere in the world.
Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Fridays,
holidays and intercession, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and closed Saturdays and Sundays.
For information on how Media Services can assist you, call 737-1703.
