Table of Contents Bompart retires after more than 40 years in higher education - Dr. Bill Bompart, vice president for academic affairs, leaves large shoes to fill. ASU ranks in Top 20 Schools for community service - The Washington Monthly ranks Augusta State in the Top 20 Schools for Community Service in the country. ASU Alumni Association bestows annual awards - The awards go to alumni and community members who have provided outstanding support to the community and ASU. Area teachers learn ins, outs of stock market - A dozen area teachers attend a workshop on the stock market. Department of Nursing undergoes re-accreditation - National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission evaluates ASU's program quality.
