Our Mission

The mission of internal audit is to support the values and strategic goals of Augusta State University by providing independent review of internal controls & governance processes that safeguard institutional assets.

Our Purpose

The work of the Internal Auditor is carried out through audit engagements, under the direction of the chief audit officer and associate vice chancellor of the Board of Regents and the president of Augusta State University. Requests for assurance or consulting engagements are welcome and can be directed to either the campus president or the internal auditor. Internal audit can help you and your staff assess departmental procedures and evaluate operational efficiencies. Let us hear from you.
