Preliminary figures predict spring enrollment
increase
Preliminary
figures continue to show an increase in enrollment with more than 3600
students already registered for the spring 2003 semester.
Were at 3,631 right now, which is ahead of where we were last
year at this time, and we usually pick up a couple thousand during registration,
said Katherine Sweeney, director of admissions and registrar.
We usually have 95 to 97 percent of what we had in fall semester,
so there is no reason to think we wont have a good spring,
she said.
Open registration for the spring semester is Jan. 2 and 3. ASU enrolled
5,335 students in spring 2002, and 5,906 in the fall.
