Physical Plant Employee of the Year

Alberta Graham is congratulated by President Bloodworth.

Alberta Graham has been named Physical Plant Employee of the Year. She previously was named Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter.

"She always projects a positive image and is sensitive to the needs of students and faculty. We can always count on her to get things done," says Brenda Gilmore, supervisor of custodial services.

Ms. Graham, who is married and has three sons, enjoys playing with her animals, taking care of her plants, and spending time with her grandchildren.

"I was very surprised and happy," she says about being presented with the award.

Ms. Graham enjoys the students, fellow employees, and her job. She has been employed at ASU since July 1977. As a Custodian III, she is responsible for managing 36 employees and maintaining the high standards of custodial services.
