Physical Plant INFORMATION FOR Prospective

The guest speaker will be Elridge McMillan, a member of the University System of Georgia Board of Regents. Regent McMillan is president emeritus of the Southern Education Foundation, Inc., in Atlanta. He also is a Scholar-in-Residence at Atlanta Metropolitan College and an education consultant. He was appointed to the Board of Regents in 1975 by Gov. George Busbee and was recently reappointed by Gov. Sonny Purdue. Regent McMillan represents the Fifth Congressional District. He served as chair of the Board of Regents from 1986-1987. Regent McMillan received his bachelor's degree in English from Clark College (now Clark Atlanta University). Completing post-graduate work at Columbia University, he received his master's degree in guidance and student personnel administration. Regent McMillan has received numerous honorary doctorates, awards, and honors for his dedicated service to education and to the society.
