The Office of Computer Services, located in Hardy Hall, is the primary provider of information technology for Augusta State University. Staffed by a combination of full-time professionals and student assistants, the department provides a wide range of services including e-mail accounts, web accounts for the development of personal websites, support for eight general purpose computer labs (two of which are accessible 24 hours a day), help desk support for the campus, Internet access, and support for administrative applications such as Banner and Peoplesoft.

Computer Services also manages ASUNet, the campus network that connects all of the administrative and classroom buildings via fiber optic cabling. ASUNet provides connectivity for more than 1300 workstations and more than 30 file servers.

The department’s goal is to support the mission of ASU by providing technological leadership and service for the campus while focusing on customer service for students, faculty and staff.
