International Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner
Augusta, Ga. – The Pilgrims and Native Americans gathered to share their favorite dishes for the first Thanksgiving many years ago. Now, Augusta State University students are being urged to do the same.
Students will represent their culture and join in giving thanks at the International Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner on Friday, Nov. 16, at 6:30 p.m., in the Jaguar Student Activities Center Ballroom.
Guests are encouraged to wear fashions from their culture, which will allow them to participate in the student-led cultural fashion show. Live music will be provided by a student from Ecuador. Also, the German Friendship Club of Augusta will be in attendance.
Guests are asked to bring a dish of their choice to share. Turkey, dressing, and drinks will be provided. For more information, call ASU’s Dean of Students Office at 706-737-1411.
