Local elections could bring significant change
Augusta, Ga. – With all the attention focused on today’s Augusta Commission elections, Richmond County could either be in for big changes or lots more of the same. Also, the South Carolina Senate District 25 seat is up for grabs and will affect what happens in Aiken, Edgefield, McCormick, and Saluda counties at the state level.
Paul Harris, associate professor of political science at Augusta State University, has followed these elections closely and is willing to share his expertise on what the outcome of these races could mean for the people in each of the districts.
