ASU professor has play selected
Augusta, Ga. – The battle for a Mrs. Freshly honey bun is the premise behind the play The Venting Machine written by Richard Davis, professor of communications and professional writing at Augusta State University. The one-act play was one of 11 selected from 218 plays submitted by playwrights from around the nation to the Fine Arts Association.
The play, which opens Feb. 22, 2008 and runs through March 8, 2008 for eight performances, will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, at the 12th Annual One Act Festival, Hot from the Oven - a la carte. For more information, call ASU’s Department of Communications and Professional Writing at 706-729-2416.
