ASU nursing students will participate in a time-honored tradition

Augusta, GA – Nursing students at Augusta State University will receive their pins at the Department of Nursing’s annual pinning ceremony on Friday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m., in the Jaguar Student Activities Center Ballroom.

Jennie Roberts, assistant professor of nursing at Augusta State, will be the evening’s keynote speaker.

During the ceremony, the 2007 graduates will receive their pins and recite the traditional Nightingale Pledge―an oath vowing that they will dedicate themselves to the nursing profession. For more information, call ASU’s Department of Nursing at 737-1725.
