ASU celebrates Women’s History Month
Augusta, Ga. - Betsy Ross, Harriet Tubman, and Clara Barton are among the women who have paved the way for today’s women to become their best as Women's History Month is celebrated this month.
Augusta State University will join in this observance by hosting two events. On Wednesday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jaguar Student Activities Center Coffeehouse, the documentary film Fly Girls will be shown. Fly Girls chronicles the history of women pilots during World War II. On Thursday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m., there will be a meeting of the minds as participants test their knowledge at the Women's History Month Trivia Night competition in the Hardy Meeting Room, Jaguar Student Activities Center.
