ASU Remembers 9/11
Augusta, Ga. – The nation endured great change when terrorists disrupted the lives of many on Tuesday morning, Sept. 11, 2001.
Augusta State University will come together and recall this tragic day in history with an observance on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. at the flag pole located in front of Payne Hall. The ceremony will include a moment of silence with the lowering of the flag. ASU’s ROTC Color Guard will provide a 21-gun salute as well as a rendition of Taps.
