Bush Leaves Augusta State
The
Augusta State University Athletic Department suffered a loss recently at the
hands of the Professional Golfers Association.
John Bush, ASU sports information director, resigned Oct. 19 to accept the
position of media official with the PGA. Bush worked for three years at ASU
handling all areas of media relations and publicity for Augusta State's 11-sport
program. Last fall he was also named director of marketing and promotions
for the athletic department.
While at ASU, Bush also served as the chair of the subcommittee on athletics
for the SACS Educational Support Committee and was a member of the Homecoming
Committee.
