About Augusta State University Recycling
Augusta State University participates in the State of Georgia recycling
program operated by the Georgia Building Authority. In addition to ASU,
this program serves over 100 locations within a 30-mile radius of the
State Capitol, the University of Georgia in Athens, and some state
facilities located in Milledgeville. In 1995, 3,253 tons of material was
recycled through the GBA program.
The success of this program is dependent upon the building occupants
placing recyclable materials in the recycling containers. Please help us
make it work.
Other state agencies wanting to know more about the GBA program may
contact the Georgia Building Authority at (404) 651-5924.
The ASU Media Center participates in the Media Recycling Program of the
EcoMedia Recycling Center for the recycling of video and magnetic
materials. For more information about this contact
