Application Fee. A fee of $20 must accompany a prospective student's application for admission. This fee is not refundable and does not apply toward registration or matriculation fees. | Tuition. The tuition fee is charged to each student. The tuition fee for In-State undergraduate students who enroll in 12 or more semester hours is $966 per semester. The fee for In-State undergraduate students who enroll in fewer than 12 semester hours is $81 per semester hour. The tuition fee for Out-of-State undergraduate students who enroll in 12 or more semester hours is $3,864 per semester. The fee for Out-of-State undergraduate students who enroll in fewer than 12 semester hours is $322 per semester hour. The tuition fee for In-State graduate students who enroll in 12 or more semester hours is $1,160 per semester. The fee for In-State graduate students who enroll in fewer than 12 semester hours is $97 per semester hour. The tuition fee for Out-of-State graduate students who enroll in 12 or more semester hours is $4,640 per semester. The fee for Out-of-State graduate students who enroll in fewer than 12 semester hours is $387 per semester hour. Out-of State Tuition. The Out-of-State tuition is charged to students who are not classified as Georgia residents for tuition purposes. Residents of Aiken and Edgefield counties in South Carolina are charged In-State tuition. See pages 21 and 22 for information regarding classification of a student as In-State of Out-of-State. Contact the Offices of Admissions or Student Records for more information. Student Services Fee. A $40 Student Services Fee per fall and spring semester is charged to each student. The fee is $27 in the summer semester. This fee defrays expenses for essential student services not covered in the instructional and educational budget. Athletic Fee. A $94 Athletic Fee per fall and spring semester is charged to each student. The fee is $63 in the summer semester. This fee supports the men's and women's varsity athletic programs. Transportation Fee. Transportation is provided by Augusta Public Transit to students between the main campus and the Forest Hills campus. Students pay a nominal transportation fee of $3 for this service. The fee also entitles all students enrolled at Augusta State University to free service on all routes served by Augusta Public Transit. Technology Fee. A $38 Technology Fee is charged to each student to help defray the costs of hardware, software, licenses, training, laboratories, systems, etc., that benefit ASU students in meeting the educational objectives of their academic programs. Late Registration Fee. Any student who does not register and pay fees at the time designated for registration in the University Calendar is charged a late registration fee of $50. |
