Any student who meets the minimum GPA requirement and has been a student at ASU for at least one semester, may pick up an application and run for the office of senator or one of the executive officer positions. The deadlines for seeking any of these positions are listed below:

Monday, March 14, 2011: 8:00am
SGA Applications available in the Office of Student Activities
Executive Officers: **Must obtain 50 Student Signatures**
At- Large Senators: **Must obtain 75 Student Signatures**
College Appointed Senators: **Must obtain 75 Student Signatures**

Friday, March 18, 2011: 4:30pm
SGA Election Application Deadline
Return to Student Activities Office

Monday, March 21, 2011
12:00pm-1:00pm
4:00pm- 5:00pm
Mandatory Elections Workshops
Butler Meeting Room- all candidates must attend to be eligible to seek office

Tuesday, March 22, 2011: 12:00 noon
All campaign material must be approved by Student Activities prior to display
Candidate Information Sheets /Picture due in Student Activities Office

Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Campaigning begins 8:00am
Monday, March 28 - Thursday, March 31, 2011. Tent Voting Begins at 10am-2pm
Friday, April 1, 2011. Tent Voting Area Opens at 9am-12pm, voting stops at Noon
Friday, April 2nd. 4:30pm Mandatory. All campaign material must be removed.
Candidate will be penalized by deduction of votes. **10 votes per violation**
Friday, April 1, 2011. Election Results will be posted in the Student
Activities Office at 4:30 pm
Wednesday, April 6, 2011. 9:30am. Deadline to register written appeals to Director of Student Activities
