Plans: To secure a book contract for my dissertation work and to continue researching issues of race, class and gender as they relate to animal-assisted therapies and residential programming for at-risk and delinquent youth. I also want to update my previous work on gender-specific delinquency programs for girls and to expand this work to better understand what is known about culturally-specific delinquency programs and programs that deal with issues of masculinity for young males.
