Potential future research includes examining the notion of "hero" as understood by veterans of the Iraq War and the ladies of the Roller Derby scene.
Favorites:
Books: The Fall, The Stranger, Hitchhikers series, Ann Rice, Alice Walker, and numerous
ethnographic studies.
Films: Too many to count! Anything by Christopher Guest, Cohen Brothers, or Jim Jarmusch, and David
Lynch. I also enjoy bad martial arts, horror, and comedy films such as the Drunken Master, the Evil Dead Series, and Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion.
Music: I'm all over the place. Currently in my car:
