Areas of Specialty: Criminal law, Criminal Court, and Domestic Violence. Many other aspects of law as they relate to Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Paralegal Studies.

Teaching: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminal Courts, Internships in CJ and Sociology, Domestic Violence, and I sometimes teach a section of American Government. I also teach Business Organizations, Real Estate Transactions, and Wills, Trusts, and Estates offered in the Paralegal Program.

Plans: Continue to educate students about the law and the criminal justice system. Advise the Criminal Justice Club and assist in their community activities. Update and expand the Sociology and Criminal Justice internship agency list and help students plan their transition from student life to real world work environment.

Favorites:

  • Books: Romantic Comedies and Mystery. A Separate Peace, The Glass Castle, 90 minutes in Heaven, Notes from the Underbelly, and Charlie Wilson's War.
  • Films: Romantic Comedies and Crime Dramas. Pelican Brief, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women.
  • Music: I enjoy all genres of music. My current faves are Coldplay, Fergie, Alicia Keys, Colbie Caillat, and Sara Bareilles.
