APRIL 2006 – Carolyn Ingraham, director of Continuing Education, and Arlene Schler, program coordinator in Continuing Education, talk about Kids University of other continuing education programs ASU offers.
MARCH 2006 Part 2 – Karen Mobley, director for Student Development, discusses the new African-American Male Initiative, a summer program to increase the number of black males in higher education.
MARCH 2006 Part 1 – Anthony Kellman, professor of English, talks about his books, Houses of Alphonso and Limestone, and the annual Sand Hills Writers Conference. A broadcast of a Black History Month forum at ASU addresses the book, Has the Black Middle Class Lost its Mind?
FEBRUARY 2006 – Michael Searles (Cowboy Mike) discusses Black History Month events at ASU and the history of African-Americans in the West.
JANUARY 2006 Part 2– Charlotte Price, chair of the Department of Nursing, and Rebecca Rogers associate professor of clinical psychology, talk about the Cullum Lecture Series, which focuses on healthcare.
JANUARY 2006 Part 1 – Eddie Howard, director of the Office of Student Activities, talks about upcoming Black History Month and Homecoming events at Augusta State.
DECEMBER 2005 Part 2– Dr. Ralph Walker, director of ASUs Research Center & Political Analyst, and Dr. Saundra Reinke director of ASUs Master of Public Administration Degree Program, discus local, state, and national political issues.
DECEMBER 2005 Part 1 – Steve Lape, security officer in ITS, discusses computers and identity theft.
NOVEMBER 2005 Part 2 – Jasper Cooke, director of Public Safety, discusses campus safety, identify theft, domestic violence, and child abuse.
NOVEMBER 2005 Part 1 – Irene Frieze, visiting psychologist in the Psychology Speaker Series, talks about her book, Hurting the One You Love.
OCTOBER 2005 – Deborah Richardson, chair and professor of psychology, and Sabina Widner, associate professor of psychology, discuss mental health, psychology as a career field, and ASU’s Psychology Speaker Series.
SEPTEMBER 2005 – Anthony Kellman, professor of English, talks about creative writing and his latest CD, Limestone.
AUGUST 2005 – Paulette Harris, Cree-Walker professor of education, discusses ASU’s Literacy Center and issues in education.
JULY 2005 – Dr. William Reese, professor of sociology, talks about the state of today’s prison system and the Safe Neighborhoods project.
JUNE 2005 - Dr. William Reese, professor of sociology, discusses America’s criminal justice system, particularly as it relates to juvenile crime and the CSRA.
MAY 2005 - Dr. Charlotte Price, chair of the ASU Department of Nursing, discusses the nursing profession and addresses current health topics.
APRIL 2005 - Ms. Katherine Sweeney, registrar and director of admissions, and Ms. Willene Holmes, director of financial aid, talk about how to get into college and how to pay for it.
MARCH 2005 - Dr. Kim Davies, sociology, talks about women’s issues, and Dr. Holly Carter, sociology, talks about ASU’s new Bachelor of Social Work degree program.
FEBRUARY 2005 - Mr. Eddie Howard, student activities, discusses Black History Month events; and Amy Sullivan, Career Center, talks about career planning.
JANUARY 2005 - Mr. Joe Greene, business administration, talks about personal finance.
DECEMBER 2004 - Dr. Saundra Reinke, political science, and Dr. Ralph Walker, Research Center, discuss local and state politics.
