Augusta State University Honor Awards: Future Plans: Graduate in 2009 and attend Law School, and Practice Law Reason I am running for Executive Office: I am running for the office of Student Government president because I have deep abiding interest in serving the students of Augusta State University. I want to strengthen the student government association’s (SGA) performance on addressing the concerns of the Augusta State University student body. I am devoted to effectively fulfilling the commitment of the office of the SGA president. This commitment includes forgoing a strong line of communication between the ASU student body and the SGA, continuing my active participation in the SGA senate, and appointing individuals who have a sense of commitment to the ASU student body. To guide this improvement, I put forth my experience as SGA senator, Talented Tenth president, and student orientation leader as the foundation upon which I assert my desire to serve the students of Augusta State University. Being a senator for the past few semesters has really gotten me interested in student government and being an executive officer would be such a wonderful opportunity.
