The Office of Student Activities: Mission Statement

  The Office of Student Activities exists so that students have the opportunity to become involved in those areas outside the classroom setting that complement academic undertakings. It also strives to provide an educational foundation by learning through doing, enables students to be creative, responsible, and productive citizens. The development of the "whole person" is a concept which is a corner-stone of Student Activities programming.

  The Student Activities Office is directly responsible for many of the areas funded by the Student Activities Fee. Our Office provides advice and assistance to the Student Government, Jaguar Activities Board, and Judicial Cabinet; and to other fraternities and sororities, and a score of chartered clubs and organizations. It provides services which include providing JagCard ID Cards, and reservation of the meeting rooms in the Jaguar Student Activities Center. The Office also publishes the Program Guide and the Jaguar Student Handbook.
