Opportunities
Applications for the Fall 2009 semester will open on April 13th . You must register prior to submitting an application and attached your schedule to be considered for Fall 2009. You may attach a resume, but you still have to complete an application. No Phone Calls Please! Candidates selected for an interview will be notified in late May.
The Office of Student Activities offers multiple positions
throughout the semester both Student Assistant and Federal Work
Study. These positions are filled before
or near the beginning of each semester. Applications not chosen
for an interview are filed and given first preference when a
position opens up during the semester in which the application
was received. Employees must attend all employee training sessions
and will be Red Cross; first aid, CPR and defibrillator certified.
Note: Applications are only held for one semester

Student Managers in the JSAC open and close the building, greet
those who reserve in the building, prepare the rooms with
audio/visual or special set-ups and help supervise the rest of the
student staff. Managers are trained in proper use of all equipment
in the building and are CPR/first aid certified. Must be able to
lift 50lbs.

The Game Room and Fitness
Center Staff monitors these areas and enforces safety and building
regulations. They check-out equipment such as pool sticks, x-box
games, keys for lockers, etc. Game Room and Fitness Center Staff are
trained in proper equipment use and are CPR/first aid certified.
Information Desk
$7.65/hour (8-10 hours a week)

Information
Desk attendants are strategically positioned in the high-traffic
area of the JSAC Breezeway to answer phones, answer questions for
those passing through, and to monitor the Breezeway. They help in
ensuring that building regulations are being followed.
Event Staff
$7.25/hour (8-10 hours a week)
Negotiable (hours dependant on schedule)
JSAC
Event Staff employees are in charge of making sure that every
room is properly set up. They coordinate with the Student
Manager on duty and with the JSAC Operations Coordinator.
This is an on - call position and works
around the student schedules. This may include early
mornings (7am or before) and late evenings (9pm or after). Must
be able to lift 50lbs.
